adventure in writing
Everyone has a book in them. Experience, person, or thing that has stayed in the back of your mind. It's there, you just have to reach for it. Sit down and just let the words flow onto the paper. Don't worry about spelling and being english correct. That's what rewrites are for. What if no one sees it? So what, Or it might just be the next best seller.

I just know spring is around the corner and we won't have to worry about covering our flowers or find one lifeless and brown when we wake up in the morning.
ReplyDeleteOur first frost threat I covered them all out front with sheets. It looked like they were having a slumber party.
I told my sister if the sheets were gone in the morning, someone needed bedding more than my flowers. However the next morning the sheets were all there and my flowers made it through the night without getting frost burned.
I decided to treat myself and bought me a Harley. It's a special edition, 1200 Sportster only 1500 made and I have 1053.
That's a thrill to ride.
Returned from Vegas April 15th from the conference. spent some fun time with my Daughter Danene, Cyndi my daughter-n-law and two of my granddaughters, Rochell and Jaylene. As they say what goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Leaving for Denver on the 10th with my awesome sister, Cass.
It's that time of day and my bed is calling.
Have a book signing on July 5th 2014 at Hastings in Harrisville..
ReplyDeleteWhen I bought my Harley (her name is Freedom) I never imaged I'd meet so many great people and have so much fun.
Good to see that you are still blogging, CJ!
DeleteWhere's that pic you took of your book on Hasting's shelf?
Going to find out how to put it on here. I need a computer that does voice command.
ReplyDeleteI feel like my garden looks, wilted. Some sleep for me, water for them and we all may lift our heads tomorrow morning
ReplyDeleteA new day and the shoulder isn't much better. a massage is needed.
ReplyDeleteMy new book coming out is now posted on my web site and the information for my book signing July 5th at Hastings 3-5. Next to Walmart in Harrisville.
ReplyDeleteShoulder back to normal, thank goodness. Going this weekend to the Indie Author Hub conference.
My grandkids are coming down from North Dakota so excited
Do you never stop, CJ?
ReplyDeleteAmazing writer--amazing woman!
Had a great five days riding the Harley in Oregon, Cali, Idaho and Nevada.Hope you checked out my pictures on my facebook page.
ReplyDeleteBook signing this weekend. If you dream of writing a book start putting your thoughts on paper and give wings to your imagination.
Went to a a conference couple weeks back and this is just one of the things they brought up. Have you every asked your child why they pick out a certain book. The Librarian said it's the cover. Your cover is a window inviting the reader in.
ReplyDeleteFamily time is great and special on the holidays. I'm blessed to have such an awesome Family and the support they give me when I'm in writing mode in the' Cave '. That's what they call my writing room.
ReplyDeleteHave a great fourth
Book signing went great. Fun talking to new people and thankful for friends and family who came out to support me.
ReplyDeleteSure wish I could have made it all of the way out there.
DeleteSounds like it was FANTASTIC!
Gardening took precedence over everything today. Weeding and transferring dirt from one area to another.has left my butt muscles screaming. At least they received a good workout.
ReplyDeleteDead line for Blood Red Moon is creeping closer so I'm off to the Cave.
back to the day job, it keeps us fed. Happy I had such a great response to my book signing. Need to find a way to upload my pictures.
ReplyDeleteGetting ready for the Harley ride to Montana. life is a surprise everyday. Like Sally Fields said in the movie Forrest Gump, Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. I'll add unless you give it to the universe what you want.
ReplyDeleteWorried about my mom and sister, walking time bombs. Healing prayers are asked for. Unbearable not having them in my life. Love you both so much
ReplyDeleteUnbearable to think about not having them in my life.
ReplyDeleteIt's been 47 years since I lost my son and there is not a day goes by I don't think about him.
ReplyDeleteGetting packed today for the trip to Montana in the morning. I love that Harley. Last trip to Oregon I got ideas for a new book. Can't wait to start on it.
Finished Blood Red Moon finally. What a great feeling. a couple of weeks and it will be ready to go. and on to the next.
ReplyDeleteWhere'd you go, Jeanne?
